With this year's intense business travel schedules I was able to visit India twice. Every trip was very short and packed with meetings back to back, and we spent most of our time in Delhi and Moradabad. The short amount of time spent in India did not prevent me from realizing the tremendous inspiration this country and culture had to offer especially from a product and design standpoint. India is incredibly strong in artisanship, craftsmanship, creativity in working with multiple types of materials. I was aware of this in my past experience working in the apparel & textile industry but never had the opportunity to see it first hand India. If you are inspired by global design styles and cultural richness, you have got to visit this country. Not to mention the food is amazing!
